I, too, have been drinking coffee since I was eight. I remember the very first cup (we were caught stealing cake slices from a Methodist church and the old fella thought if he treated us like adults we would respond like adults - nope). I remember the slightly bitter and earthy taste and unlike most folks I was instantly hooked. That was 33 years ago and I have never considered quiting the one true love. You are a brave and awesome woman. Best of luck on your continued adventures in food. I envy your courage.
